Trusts & Estates Partner Honored by UJA

Senior Partner Martin Rosen was honored by the Trusts & Estates Group of the Lawyers Division of UJA-Federation of New York for both his work in trusts and estates and his philanthropy.
Marty was a member of UJA's Board of Directors and played a key role in the organization's Long Island Division, where he is a former chair of the South Shore Cabinet's executive committee. He has served as mayor of the Village of Lawrence and he has also been a contributing editor to NYU's Tax Law Review.
Marty was a founding member of the board of trustees of the Simon Wiesenthal Center for Holocaust Studies. He was Mr. Wiesenthal's personal attorney for forty years and delivered a eulogy for him at his funeral in Israel last year. Marty is president of the Jewish Documentation Center Foundation and he was instrumental in helping to abolish the statute of limitations for Nazi crimes.
Marty is also a certified public accountant and he lectures at several professional societies and forums.
