Steadman Graham, Educator, Management Consultant and Businessman, Speaks at Sonnenschein

Author and Educator Steadman Graham delivered a workshop to Sonnenschein attorneys in Chicago on June 27 based on his upcoming book, "Diversity: Leaders Not Labels," expected to be released this fall. Sonnenschein partner and Diversity Chair Kevin Chavous made welcoming remarks and highlighted the firm’s commitment to diversity before introducing Sonnenschein’s guest speaker. Graham spoke about a number of diversity issues, specifically discussing how women and diverse attorneys can develop professional opportunities based on their talent and the unique experiences they bring to a professional setting.

Through his book and workshops, Graham demonstrates how society can define and limit people from reaching their full potential. He strives to provide insights to business leaders and workforces on how to integrate differences to maximize competitive advantages. Graham comments, "What is most important is to break through labels and get to the core of the individual. When you operate from this perspective, you become a true leader to yourself, to others, and to society."

Graham regularly consults and conducts trainings with corporations, law firms and non-profit organizations on topics related to maximizing leadership, diverse talent and business growth. He is currently an adjunct professor at Temple University.
