In the wake of the D.C. Court of Appeals decision overturning the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's (the "SEC") hedge fund manager registration rule in
Goldstein v. SEC, yesterday, December 13, 2006, the SEC voted to propose two new rules that will impact the hedge fund community.
