Prominent Dallas Lawyer Michael Moore Moves to Sonnenschein

(DALLAS, January 29, 2008)—Highly regarded Dallas attorney C. Michael Moore has joined the office here of Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP as a partner in its Litigation Practice Group, the national law firm announced today.  Moore comes to Sonnenschein from Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell LLP, where he was a leader in the firm's litigation practice.

Moore's experience spans a wide variety of litigation areas, including pharmaceutical lender liability, trade secrets, business torts, directors and officers liability, commercial transactions, products liability, mass torts, asbestos, medical malpractice, bankruptcy and financial institution regulatory issues.  He has tried cases in both state and federal courts and has handled appeals in the Texas Court of Appeals, the Texas Supreme Court, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.

Moore is a contributing author of "Settlement Agreements in Commercial Disputes: Negotiating, Drafting and Enforcement," published by Aspen Law Business.  He received a J.D. degree with honors, Order of the Coif, from the University of Texas School of Law and a B.A. degree, cum laude, from Centenary College of Louisiana.  Moore has been recognized repeatedly by his peers as a Texas Super Lawyer.
