Bankruptcy Partner Sara Chenetz Joins Sonnenschein in Los Angeles

(LOS ANGELES, January 15, 2008)-- Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP today announced that Sara L. Chenetz has joined the law firm as a partner in its Corporate Reorganization & Bankruptcy Practice.  Chenetz, whose practice involves complex bankruptcy restructuring, workout and litigation matters, will reside in the firm's Los Angeles office.  She joins Sonnenschein from DLA Piper.

Chenetz has represented clients in numerous trials, hearings and appellate matters in bankruptcy and other courts throughout the United States, as well as in out-of-court workouts and restructurings.  Her clients have included debtors in possession, official and unofficial committees, investment funds, bondholders, lenders, insurers and equity holders.  Chenetz's work covers a wide range of industries, including airlines, defense, entertainment, finance, hospitality, manufacturing, real estate and utilities.
