Sonnenschein Forms Legal Task Force to Address Subprime Lending Crisis

(NEW YORK, January 14, 2008) -- Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP today announced the formation of a new National Credit Markets and Subprime Lending Task Force.  The Task Force, comprised of experienced attorneys from throughout the firm, will provide legal counsel to clients adversely affected by the contraction of the credit, subprime lending and mortgage markets.

Sonnenschein's new Task Force is made up of attorneys across several disciplines in the firm.  These practice areas include Corporate Reorganization & Bankruptcy, Litigation, Real Estate, Corporate, Tax, Public Law & Policy Strategies, and Insurance.  Members of the Task Force will work with clients on a broad range of issues, including investigating failed strategies, advising ERISA fiduciaries, trustees and loan servicers in connection with securitization matters, bankruptcy counseling, litigation, loss recoveries, and dispute resolution.
