Sonnenschein Announced Promotions, Including 17 New Partners

(NEW YORK, April 2, 2007)—Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP has announced the election of 17 partners, two of counsel and one managing director.  The promotions, effective April 1, will greatly enhance the firm’s services in antitrust, bankruptcy and restructuring, corporate, health care, intellectual property, litigation, public policy, real estate and other practice areas.

The promotions are in seven of Sonnenschein’s offices: four in Chicago, two in Kansas City, one in Los Angeles, two in New York, three in St. Louis, two in San Francisco, and five in Washington, D.C.

The new partners are:

Kathryn B. Ashton, Chicago.  Practice focuses on health care transactional matters with an emphasis on finance.  Chicago-Kent College of Law, J.D., with honors, 1999; Drake University, B.A., cum laude, 1994.

Daniel R. Brown, San Francisco.  Practice focuses on representing insurers and producers involved in all aspects of the U.S. insurance markets.  Stanford University School of Law, J.D., 1992; Portland State University, B.S., summa cum laude, 1989.

Zenas J. Choi, Washington.  Practice specializes in representing telecommunications and other technology clients on issues dealing with regulatory, transactional, and general corporate matters.  Boston University School of Law, J.D., 1998; Northeastern University, B.A., cum laude, 1994.

William E. Copley, Washington.  Practice focuses on a wide range of litigation matters, including appellate litigation, administrative litigation, telecommunications, trade secrets, and contract disputes.  University of Chicago, J.D., 1999; Vanderbilt University, B.A., magna cum laude, 1996.
