Sonnenschein Adds Corporate Attorney Thomas Cleary In Los Angeles

(LOS ANGELES, January 8, 2007)— Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP today announced that Thomas M. Cleary has joined the law firm as a partner in its national Corporate Practice Group. He will reside in Sonnenschein’s Los Angeles office.
“Tom brings substantial M&A, private equity and corporate securities experience to Sonnenschein. He is an integral part of the corporate group’s expansion on the West Coast and across the country,” said Paul Gajer, chair of Sonnenschein’s Corporate Practice Group. “Tom’s knowledge and expertise will add great value for our clients.”
Cleary represents several well-known buyout, venture capital and other private equity financing sources, as well as a diverse group of portfolio companies. He has worked with companies across a broad array of industry sectors, including e-commerce, food service, apparel retailing and consumer products.

Cleary received a J.D. degree from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. He earned a B.S. degree in chemical engineering, Tau Beta Pi, from the University of Notre Dame. Cleary currently serves as a director of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.
