Corporate Attorney Arthur Hayes Joins Sonnenschein

(NEW YORK, October 16, 2006)—Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP announced today that Arthur Hull Hayes III has joined the law firm as a partner in its New York office and a member of its national Corporate Group.  Hayes comes to Sonnenschein from Dewey Ballantine LLP.

Hayes, who has spent his entire career practicing law in New York, focuses primarily in the areas of international and domestic bank lending, project finance, and debt workout and restructuring transactions.  He has extensive experience with, and a broad knowledge of, secured transactions under Articles 8 and 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code.  Hayes’ lending transactions have involved public and private borrowers in a variety of industries, including power generation and distribution, entertainment and media, pharmaceuticals, investment banking and aerospace.

Hayes received an LL.M. degree from the Morin Center for Banking Law Studies at Boston University School of Law.  He earned a J.D. degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A. degree from LaSalle University.
