Sonnenschein Announces 19 Promotions to Partner, Of Counsel

(CHICAGO, April 3, 2006)—Law firm Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP has announced the election of 17 partners and two of counsel.  The promotions, effective April 1, will help the firm meet demands for legal services in bankruptcy and restructuring, corporate and securities, health care, intellectual property, litigation, real estate and other practice areas. 

The promotions are in six of Sonnenschein’s offices: eight in Chicago, two in Kansas City, one in Los Angeles, six in New York, one in San Francisco, and one in Washington, D.C.

The new partners are:

Rachel G. Balaban, New York.  Practice focuses on commercial litigation and arbitration across a broad range of substantive areas, including business tort and contractual disputes, fraud, insurance, intellectual property, and labor and employment-related matters.  New York University School of Law, J.D., 1999; Cornell University, B.S., 1996.

Leah R.
