Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP has announced the adoption of an environmental sustainability policy that will make the law firm a leader in energy and natural resource conservation and sustainable business practices.  Our comprehensive environmental sustainability program focuses on a range of areas, including resource and energy conservation, waste and pollution prevention and management, reduction of supply chain impacts, and collaboration and integration with its diversity, pro bono and community service programs.

Nationally Recognized Group Joins Sonnenschein
Clinton Vince and James Costan
A prominent group of energy lawyers and policy professionals led by attorneys Clinton A. Vince and James A. Costan have joined the firm's Public Law & Policy Strategies Practice.  The group, which focuses on energy-related regulation, litigation, transactions and public policy, will be resident in Sonnenschein's Washington, D.C. office.

2008 Promotions
To help meet our clients' demands for legal services in Corporate, Litigation, Real Estate and other practice areas, the firm has announced the election of 12 partners.  Additionally, a member of the firm's Public Law & Policy Strategies Group was elected to Senior Managing Partner.  All of these promotions are effective April 1, 2008.

Sonnenschein Adds Prominent Intellectual Property Group in Dallas
A nationally-recognized group of 10 lawyers led by intellectual property attorney Gerald T. Welch has joined the firm in our Dallas office.  Their practice focuses on patent prosecution, counseling, and patent litigation with significant experience in the Eastern District of Texas.  Areas of expertise include the electrical, telecommunications and medical device fields, as well as life sciences.
