Sonnenschein attorneys Alan Fedman, Robert Johnson, Jeff Fort and Darry Sragow will participate in the
Eighth Semi-Annual Native American Finance Conference
. The event, presented by the Information Management Network, will take place February 27-29, 2008, at The Venetion in Las Vegas, NV.
Alan Fedman
, a co-chair of the conference, will present a recap of the conference at 8:25 a.m. on February 28.
Later that morning,
Robert Johnson
will serve as a panelist for "Real Estate Investment Options," which will detail the complexity of real estate investment and address the factors a tribe should look at in deciding whether now is right time to invest in real estate. The presentation takes place at 9:30 a.m.
At 11:45 a.m.,
Jeff Fort
will speak during "Constructing Tribal Alternative Energy Projects." Panelists will discuss Indian Country’s contribution to alternative energy growth and how tribes can utilize the use of tax credits and accelerated depreciation to their advantage and to help the environment.
Darry Sragow
will serve as a panelist for "When You're Simply Too Big for Your Britches: Expanding Casino Operations" at 2 p.m. The panel will explore factors to consider for casino expansion.
