Event Description:	Sonnenschein is a Gold sponsor and a Host Committee firm of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association 2008 Annual Conference in Los Angeles on April 27-30, 2008. Attorneys Varya Simpson, Yabo Lin and Sandra McCandless will speak at the conference. Harumi Hata is serving as a member of the event's host committee. Varya, chair of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association's Women Business Lawyers Committee, is organizing a two-part presentation entitled "The Quest for Work-Life Balance in the Legal Profession." The first half of the program will take place on Tuesday, April 29 from 9 to 10:30 a.m., followed by the second half from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. One the same day, Yabo will serve as a panel speaker for "Globalization and the Transformation of the Legal Profession in Asia: Cause or Effect?" The discussion is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. In the afternoon, Sandra will moderate the panel "Workers Without Borders: The Age of the Global Employee" from 3:45 to 5:15 p.m.
