Sonnenschein Lawyers Participate in the American Bar Association's Annual Meeting

Event Description: Sonnenschein partners Michael Bamberger, Blaine Kimrey, Yabo Lin and Sandra McCandless will participate in the American Bar Association's Annual Meeting in San Francisco, CA on August 9-14, 2007.

Michael will speak during "LLCs and Partnerships - Important Case Law Developments 2007" on Monday, August 13.  This program will provide updates on case law and other legal developments affecting limited liability companies and partnerships, including updates on cases in Delaware and highlights of important case law developments since 2006.

Blaine will moderate "Freedom of Speech 2007, Part I" on Saturday, August 11.  The program tackles the most important "hot topics" and issues confronting attorneys, judges, journalists, media companies, businesses and the government.

Yabo is being honored at the Rule of Law Initiative lunch, held on Saturday, August 11.  He also will serve as "President's Host" for the annual meeting's Distinguished International Bar Leaders.

Sandra will participate in three sessions of the meeting. On Thursday, August 9, she will be a panelist for "Careers in Tort and Insurance Law:  It's More than Insurance," during which speakers will discuss their careers, areas of practice and how TIPS contribute to their success.  On Saturday, August 11, Sandra will moderate "Domestic Partner Benefits, Rights and Responsibilities:  What Every Lawyer Needs to Know."  The panel of employment and employee benefit lawyers for this session will address current legal issues surrounding the benefits, rights and responsibilities of domestic partners.  Sandra also will serve on the Luncheon Committee of the Margaret Brent Achievement Awards Luncheon on Sunday, August 12.
