will present "New Equity Plan Designs Fostered by the Change in Accounting and Tax Rules, Shareholder Activism and New Disclosure" during the Practising Law Institute's "Hot Issues in Executive Compensation 2006" on Sept. 6 in New York City.
The release earlier this year of the executive compensation rule proposal by the Securities and Exchange Commission has already begun to reshape the way in which executive compensation is being reported for the 2006 proxy season and will result in significant changes in the governance environment of public companies. It is anticipated that the final rule, once approved, will be in effect for the 2007 proxy season. The conference's faculty of distinguished experts will discuss and provide practical advice on compliance with the rule for 2007 and beyond.
