Event Description: Sonnenschein partner Sandy McCandless will present "Avoid The Mistakes We See So Many Others Make: Updates, Forewarnings and Practical Tips For California Employers" during two sessions of the Association of Corporate Counsel-San Francisco Bay Area Chapter's Small Legal Department Committee's CLE Programs.

Corporate counsel need to know the basics as well as the updates to current California employment law and best practices to avoid employment disputes and expensive litigation.  This fast-paced interactive program will help attendees maximize protection of their companies by highlighting top employment tips for California employers.

The discussion will focus on issues such as:

  • Dealing with absenteeism or leaves of absence
