Event Description: Sonnenschein partners James Hsu and Harumi Hata are both scheduled to speak at the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association's 3rd Annual California Regional Conference. The event will take place in Marina del Rey, California on July 28-29, 2006.

James will serve as moderator for "Transpacific Cross-Border Deals: Learn the Latest from Overseas...Without the Jet Lag." The panel of experienced transactional attorneys will discuss about recent trends, regulatory insights, deal terms and exit strategies for doing business in Asia, contextualized by anecdotal discussions and war stories geared towards providing necessary tips and insights to succeed in this ultra-competitive and rapidly expanding market. The session is scheduled for 3 p.m. on July 29.

Earlier in the day, Harumi will serve as a panelist for "On the Fast Track to Partnership - Partners Speak Out." APA partners will discuss questions regarding how to accelerate the track to partnership, how to contribute to a firm's success and reputation, and more. The session is scheduled for 10:45 a.m. on July 29.
