Event Description: Sonnenschein partner Reece Hirsch to present, "Beyond HIPAA:  Recent California Privacy and Security Laws" at the Moss Adams Health Care Education Conference in San Francisco from 10:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

This presentation will provide an overview of some of the ongoing challenges of compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) privacy and security regulations. 

Also presented are some of the significant new California privacy laws of which health care organizations should be aware, such as SB 1386, the security breach notification law.
