Event Description: Jim Moeller to present on the topic of e-mail and electronic discovery and related ethical issues at the request of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (KCMBA).  Review, processing and production of email and electronic documents raise a number of important legal, ethical and technical issues.  Recent ethics opinions, including one in New York, suggest that lawyers face increased and perhaps unexpected ethical obligations to guard against disclosure of metadata when sending documents electronically to others.
