Overview
Sonnenschein created the Legacy Charter School in North Lawndale, an inner city Chicago neighborhood. It is the centerpiece of its 100th anniversary celebration. Legacy is one of the innovative educational initiatives underway in Sonnenschein offices across the country as the firm works to support the communities which have been so instrumental to its success over the past century.
Also part of Chicago Public Schools' Renaissance 2010 project, Legacy opened its doors to students -- Pre-K, kindergartners, first- and second-graders -- Monday, August 1, 2005.
