Varya Simpson, Counsel

Ms. Simpson is a member of Sonnenschein’s Corporate Practice focusing on corporate finance and trust matters.  She also has experience in many aspects of financial services, including letters of credit, bank financing and private investment fund transactions.

Ms. Simpson has extensive experience representing domestic and international financial institutions, including private investment funds, in a wide range of complex debt and securities transactions.  She has represented major domestic and foreign commercial banks in the issuance of both tax-exempt and taxable municipal securities, as well as corporate debt.  A significant portion of her practice involves working with hedge funds and private investment funds and their advisors in connection with the periodic valuation of illiquid investments.
