Mr. Brown is a member of Sonnenschein’s Capital Markets Practice.  In addition to general corporate and corporate finance matters, Mr. Brown’s current practice includes ship and rig finance, admiralty and banking matters. His practice also includes ship and rig loans for tankers, dry bulk carriers, containerships, passenger vessels, rigs, tugs, fast ferries, barges and yachts. Mr. Brown is a Proctor in Admiralty.

Mr. Brown has represented many owners, charterers, and banks in connection with ship and rig loans, charter parties, sale, construction, purchase and arrest of vessels. 

Mr. Brown was formerly a partner and then served as counsel at  the law firm of Thacher Proffitt & Wood LLP.
