Mr. Gold litigation practice concentrates on large and complex matters. His vast experience over many years in a wide range of matters includes general civil and criminal matters, trials and appeals, entertainment, intellectual property, securities, computer, technology, antitrust, corporate and real estate law. He has tried many cases in state and federal courts, and has argued numerous appeals in various courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court.
Mr. Gold has extensive experience in many substantive areas, including antitrust, securities, international disputes, class actions, civil rights, contract issues, intellectual property, legal and accounting malpractice, white-collar criminal defense and entertainment industry-related matters.
Mr. Gold is a senior member of the Departmental Disciplinary Committee, First Judicial Department, appointed by, and responsible to, the Appellate Division, First Judicial Department, for the discipline of attorneys.
Mr. Gold has taught evidence and trial practice as an adjunct professor of law at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University.
Between 1962 and 1965, Mr. Gold served as an assistant U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, prosecuting federal crimes. In connection with the prosecution of a major conspiracy, he received a special commendation from Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy.
