Ms. Bruno has experience in a wide variety of matters, including complex consumer and insurance class actions, copyright, trademark, patent, intellectual property, franchise and general commercial litigation.
Ms. Bruno represents clients in pretrial, trial and appellate proceedings in state and federal courts as well as before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Ms. Bruno has lead all aspects of complex discovery matters including taking and defending numerous depositions, engaging in extensive motion practice and coordinated all aspects of broad-ranging nationwide discovery. Her experience includes drafting and preparing briefs for all levels of state and federal appellate courts. She also has been admitted pro hac vice in numerous state and federal jurisdictions.

Representative Experience
At the trial level, Ms. Bruno has handled a variety of matters both independently and as part of a coordinated trial team. As a special assistant public defender in Lake County, Ill., she independently conducted numerous jury and bench trials. Ms. Bruno was a key member of the team that successfully briefed and argued Vine Street Clinic v. Healthlink, Inc., 856 N.E.2d 422 (2006) before the Illinois Supreme Court. Most recently she was trial counsel representing SC Johnson & Son, Inc. in a four week jury trial in a trademark infringement case.
