His practice focuses on general commercial and complex business litigation in state and federal courts, where he has broad experience defending businesses against tort and breach of contract claims brought by consumers, competitors, business partners, and employees. Representative matters include:

- Defended McDonnell Douglas Co. against breach of contract and fraud claims arising from commercial aircraft sales.

- Defended The Boeing Co. against breach of contract and fraud claims arising from failed relationship with subcontractor in charge of manufacturing flight critical aircraft components.

- Defended The Prudential Insurance Co. of America in nationwide litigation against claims that agents defrauded customers in connection with life insurance policy sales.

- Defended aircraft products manufacturer against trade secret misappropriation claims asserted by Honeywell.

- Defended numerous businesses against claims brought under California and Federal employment laws, including claims for wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful disclosure of medical information, etc.

- Defended individual trustee against breach of trust claims involving all aspects of twelve year trusteeship, including claims challenging trust real estate, stock, and loan investments.

- Prosecuted breach of contract claims by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer against The Walt Disney Company arising from agreement authorizing Disney to utilize MGM trademarks in connection with developing theme parks.
