Ms. Burke is a member of Sonnenschein’s Real Estate Practice focusing on affordable housing and community development.
Prior to joining Sonnenschein, Ms. Burke was a housing and community development fellow at the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD), where she gained experience with a wide range of affordable housing development programs, including the federal low income housing tax credit program.
During law school, Ms. Burke represented tenants of public and Section 8 housing in hearings before local housing authorities. She also served as a law clerk to Chief Justice Mary Mullarkey of the Colorado Supreme Court.
